Vance wanted to see this photo

Vance was wondering about the source of a previously posted photo. THis it am. I'm guessing by the youthful scrawniness of Mr. Deniston here that this was the meth-80's-- I mean Mid80's. Vance sent me this photo in the mid 90's, when we reconnected after a briefly long hiatus.

I was at the Tidal Basin by the Jefferson Memorial when this was taken in Washington, D.C.. I had just left New Mexico to come to Virginia to live with my dad and go to rehab for meth. I had too much "fun" while being "biker Vance" for the last five years and it nearly killed me. The cut off denim is in Arizona somewhere and I'm in Maryland and haven't had ANY white powder in over 20 years. If you click on the picture you will see a patch from a paint and body shop I worked at and the name 'Kaz'. He and I worked together and one day I got a call at work that the cops were coming for him for a previous 'incident' that had happened in Arizona. We primer painted his truck, loaded his bike and tool box in the back and he left, and I never saw him again. Bikers are a funny breed all unto their own. I had my fun with these guys and New Mexico was full of 1%er's. Red and white, gold and red, black and white and every other 'color'. Good guys, hard chicks and few friends. When I left New Mexico, I was in good graces with both the law and the outlaws, a rare acheivement for anyone. This post is dedicated to a friend of mine in Florida. Take it light brother.
