Facebook | Vance Deniston

Facebook Vance Deniston

I tried something. I wanted to see what an "ad" would look like on Facebook for The Moonpie Chronicles.

I'm just wondering....hmmmm.

What does the future hold for us?

Rick and I took the liberty of having our photos "aged enhanced" because like Larry King, we were curious. We have questioned our lives and wonder where we will end up. We have no 'pie in the sky' plan that will allow us to just blog like fools for the rest of our lives and have nothing to show for it at the end. I really don't want to be poor again. Ricks photo seems to show a healthy, all be it 'ol hippie just enjoying life.
Vance and Janet appear healthy, but again, Vance, whats with the no pants?
Vance: "I lost them at the Dead concert in Santa Fe in 1986....haven't had the need to wear pants since."
"So it is, so shall it be." - some dude at 7-11 in Gallup, New Mexico

Ricks first birthday picture...

Rick was lucky enough in the 50's to actually have cameras around when he was born. As described in earlier posts on Moonpie, Rick was born with full facial hair and an ascended testical. Ricks mother was blonde just for his birth and then went back to brown hair to hide her indentity. Nice slippers Mary.

"Viva la whatever"...

Happy Cinco de Mayo from Moonpie.
I think the celebration comes from the day Mexico beat the French out of Mexico. Could be I'm wrong, I don't know.

I do know that the 5th of May has become a celebration in America for drinking margaritas and Corona beer. My friend MJ, a Mexican worker at the landscaping company I work at, asked me today, "why do Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo?". I told him because the beer companys have made a holiday to sell more Corona to Americans. He said he understood.

So, whatever the reason we celebrate the 5th of May in America, have fun and be careful out there. And "Viva whatever".
How about Viva Moonpie?
