Happy Cinco de Mayo from Moonpie.

I think the celebration comes from the day Mexico beat the French out of Mexico. Could be I'm wrong, I don't know.

I do know that the 5th of May has become a celebration in America for drinking margaritas and Corona beer. My friend MJ, a Mexican worker at the landscaping company I work at, asked me today, "why do Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo?". I told him because the beer companys have made a holiday to sell more Corona to Americans. He said he understood.

So, whatever the reason we celebrate the 5th of May in America, have fun and be careful out there. And "Viva whatever".
