I think that for many years I thought the bike was made up. And yet, here is a guy named
Rollie Free, breaking the land-speed record at Bonneville in 1948. He's riding a Black Shadow, and wearing a bathing suit. Seriously. He and ex-wife number 19 would have gotten along like a house afire.
