This is Columbia Heights in the Nations Capitol. A massive renuvation is underway and the 'plaza' is just about finished. The little squares in the sky are solar panels that will gather enough energy to light up the plaza at night.
The trees are 'Galaxy' saucer magnolias.

Spam and rudeness will not be tolerated. We're here to have a few grins, and if you can't abide, move along. Did I mention Spam? Because if I didn't, here it is. NO SPAM!! That includes saying you like our blog and it's thought-provoking (which we know is a lie) and here's a link to your blog. Basically, if you link post a link to a for-profit site without the express written consent of me or the Big Vance-a-rino, I'll delete your comment and you'll look like an ass or I'll mock you mercilesly for being a dork.

Cool!
ReplyDeleteIs the red building in the back ground old, or is it just made to look that way.
That building is new, with the old design thrown in for good measure. I will post more photos when the job is complete. The 'old' theater is behind me in this photo and what they have done with that building is kick ass. Washington, DC, who would have ever thought I'd be working and landscaping the Nations capital?
