Jobs we have now...

I took this photo while doing my pre-construction meeting with Maryland National capital parks. The other two photos are from the web site.
We have a job at Montpelier Mansion doing work around the visitor center and workshop area.

This place makes a nice starter home with about twenty acres. The original place had 9,000 acres and about 9 houses.

  1. Hey, is that split rail fence 'period' for that house?

  2. The fence came a bit later than when the house was built. The fence in the photo was built at the Carriage House. I'm sure the fence is a reproduction of hand split rails that have long since disappeared. But they were hand split and look great.

Spam and rudeness will not be tolerated. We're here to have a few grins, and if you can't abide, move along. Did I mention Spam? Because if I didn't, here it is. NO SPAM!! That includes saying you like our blog and it's thought-provoking (which we know is a lie) and here's a link to your blog. Basically, if you link post a link to a for-profit site without the express written consent of me or the Big Vance-a-rino, I'll delete your comment and you'll look like an ass or I'll mock you mercilesly for being a dork.
