Tonight marks our third Oscars night and 14th award. We are getting enough of these awards to complete Ricks glass bottle wall in his back yard. These Oscars will serve nicely as hat hooks in the wall. This year Rick recieved two awards for writing and I recieved one for best adaptation of a book to film. Rick said, "reciving an award for writing "Miss Lil goes shopping" and "My sister the rocker" has been a true delight. I have no plan of every giving up writing." Vance took an Oscar for "True Spit", a story of a child snake handler from India."I would like to thank Bobby Green in Memphis for getting me interested in snakes and the Coen brothers for being the Coen brothers."
