The above photo was taken 31 years ago this month, outside the mineshaft in Red River.
The one below was taken just a few weeks ago in almost the same place. I forgot to bring the photo with me, so I couldn't get the right camera angle. Still, it's kind of cool.

Next stop: UTK!!

This trip that Rick made to "the cave" held a special place in my heart. I so would have liked to have been there at that moment that he knew he had found the spot. I did live there for a very short time and I loved it. Too bad we can't buy the darn thing and keep it as Moonpies Summer Retreat. Good job Rick, you did it.
