I came across this photo -- the very one Jim Jones used to have taped to his bedroom wall -- and felt the need to post it here. I know we've dissed the Carpenters before, and I know it's not advisable to speak ill of the dead, but... Damn, guys. This is part of the bleaker side of that decade known as the 1970s.
