The old neighborhood...

I live 3 blocks from the Frontier at the corner of University and Lead. Steve and I would make our way over around 9:30 pm for coffee and a doobie. Used to be open 24 hours a day I believe in the really old days but now just stays busy between 6am to 10pm. Famous for the cinnamon buns but also had the best juevos ranchero with green chili.

Dive eats on the road, New Mexico

When in Abiquiu, New Mexico, be sure to stop here for a "burro" and a beer. They are open and closed all at the same time, 24/7. Good eats.

Cup-of-Pizza

Rick would follow his father for miles on only 2 wheels. He became so adept at this riding skill, he joined the circus. Not for praise or the money.....
it was the only place he could find "Cup-of-Pizza". Rick loves Cup-of-Pizza.  He really does, he told me.

Ahhhhh....the "Flying Fools" ride again. Next trip, Aspen, Colorado on June 2nd thru June 4th. It is most important that we attend NORML's event this year to discuss legal strategies and future plans. Keith Stroup will be on hand to guide us forward. I think the most fun for Rick and I will be at Saturdays music fest and BBQ at Owl Farm in Woody Creek as a guest of the widowed Thompson.

Happy 420 day

The statue of Louis Pasteur on the campus of San Rafael H.S. 1971 was the location where the term 420 came from. A group calling themselves the Waldos (they would congregate at a campus wall: sound familiar?) and they would meet each day at 4:20 to smoke at said statue.

Yurt place or mine?

Kinda' diggin' the yurt way of living. This may be an option in the future. I like this one with the wood stove, small deck and attached bio-restroom. I could do this.

Only 2 episodes left in season two of Better call Saul. And he is still Jimmy McGill, but that should change next week. I can't get enough.....

Typewriters

Ah, the good old days. A secretary at her Royal typewriter puffing on a Camel. Bras in those days were the variety of  "lift and separate", a great look. All in all, a really keen looking woman.

Remember to adapt a pet this summer. Think of something other than yourself for twenty minutes each day. Janet and I are up to two rescue animals and Rick I believe is on his third. It takes work and patience, but hey, so does everything else.
