This is cool, mostly because the guy on the right is old classmate of Rick and I. Vaughn MacMillan.

With the passing of Memorial Day this week, I just wanted to say ,"thanks dad".

Sorry, I'm a couple of days late, But, HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILLIE! Another supporter of NORML.

Rick and I had a very short lived career as models in the 70's. Rick went North to Canada for a couple of months and I did some work in San Francisco. We soon tired of the constant advances from all the women and we both returned to Albuquerque, utterly exhausted. Two weeks later we were wondering what happened to all the chicks! It was a sad period.

Robin Williams Dead?

Really? Holy fucking shit.

Not that it necessarily surprises me. He always seemed like one of those laughing-through-the-tears guys.

In later years I think he kind of became a parody of himself and I thought his recent TV show was lame. Really, I think his best work was his serious stuff. Dead Poets Society, The Fisher King, and Good Will Hunting. I also like the much forgotten Being Human.

Birthday wishes

I proclaim this day to be R.R. Day in the great State of New Mexico. July 9th will forever be a day of eating tacos and drinking beer. Step up, fill your plate and glass. Happy day of birth to R.R.

Ricks camper restore project

A few weeks ago I posted a "Before" photo of the camper my wife and I are restoring.

Here's the "After"shot. We're going minimalist on the design. Lots of windows and an "open" floor plan.
