If properly worn, the bell bottoms would cover your boots, front to back. If you stood just so....you would have the apperance of either growing out of the ground or melting into the sidewalk. Only about 1 in 10 kids could pull this look off correctly. The other style that went along with '70's jeans were the 1" around peace sing buttons.I would place 5 of these in a line on top of each other starting at the ground and work them up the outside seam. Girls were required to have a patch on the ass of thier jeans and guys usually would place a patch somewhere around the "package" area.
